Tim Blaine Zielonko
I am an information designer and web developer from St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

I translate policy research into interactive stories, tools, and charts. As a designer, I believe that accessibility is the starting point for every project. Good design is sincere, and a sincere commitment to users goes beyond 508-compliance to incorporate deeper discussions of how we make our data relevant and interpretable.
Fluent in Figma and frighteningly capable with even the most obscure design tools, I excel at designing for development—I am a self-taught developer with skills in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Python. I especially love to make charts with D3.
I am currently a designer at Mathematica Policy Research. Before that, I spent several years contributing to academic research centers as a data analyst. I am a graduate of Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design.
